Datamax Technical Training Classes - Overview


DAST (Datamax Authorized Service Technician) Training Course – The DAST training courses are 3-day comprehensive technical training course designed for intermediate to advanced technicians. The classes cover the entire line of “Class” printers and are hands-on diagnostic based training. This class is one of the requirements for Dealers wishing to obtain DASC (Datamax Authorized Service Center) Status. A passing grade on the final test is required for certification as a DAST (Datamax Authorized service Technician).

Basic Technical Courses
Basic Technical Training Courses are 1-Day product specific technical training courses designed for beginner to intermediate technicians. The classes cover Specific Datamax Printer Product Families and are hands-on diagnostic based training. This course is NOT for Dealers wishing to obtain Datamax Authorized Service Center (DASC) Status. End-users of Datamax printer may attend these classes. A passing grade on the final test is required for certification for each specific product. Classes are scheduled based on demand.
