DATAMAX NAMES NATIONAL SERVICE CENTER AS OFFICIAL ON-SITE MAINTENANCE PROVIDER FOR FULL PRODUCT LINE

Datamax has named National Service Center (NSC) as their official on-site service provider for the complete line of Datamax thermal printers.

Under the terms of the agreement, National Service Center will provide coast-to-coast maintenance coverage on the entire Datamax printer line from its authorized service locations across the United States. Additionally, NSC will offer optional annual maintenance contracts to Datamax customers on an on-site or depot basis. NSC has been certified as a Datamax Authorized Repair Center and has received complete training on all Datamax products. Additionally, NSC will provide Datamax resellers and OEMs with complete parts distribution, telephone technical support, and warranty repairs.

National Service Center is a bar code equipment repair facility headquartered in Greenville, SC, with sales and service offices throughout the United States. NSC offers depot and on-site repairs and service on most models of Auto ID equipment, including direct thermal/ thermal transfer printers, POS (point-of-sale) printers, bar code scanners, main logic boards and power supplies. Additionally, NSC sells OEM spare parts and printheads for most printers on the market today.

DATAMAX SIGNS OPTIMAL SYSTEMS SERVICE AS ON-SITE SERVICE PROVIDER

Datamax has signed Optimal Systems Services (OSS), A Division of Optimal Robotics, Inc., as a provider of on-site service for the entire Datamax line of products.

Under the terms of the agreement, Optimal Systems Services will provide nationwide on-site service for Datamax products from its direct offices throughout the United States. OSS, which does not perform hardware sales, will offer its Reseller Partnership Program to Datamax Resellers, providing a non-competing service solution. As a requirement for Certification, OSS trainers and tech support personnel have received product training from Datamax and are conducting classes for the field service force.

Optimal Systems Services is a third-party, multi-vendor service company originally founded in 1977 and based in Santa Ana, CA. The OSS service solution offers a variety of service coverage options for the Reseller and End-user. Utilizing the Internet and wireless communications technology, OSS provides its partners with the capability to perform web entry of service requests and access to real-time call status information.
