INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE PRINT CAPABILITY

DATAMAX customers that need to print non-English character sets can utilize the DATAMAX INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE PRINT CAPABILITY (ILPC). ILPC is available with:

- Western European language support (CG TIMES )
- KANJI language support (GOTHIC B / GOTHIC E)
- Chinese language support (SIMPLIFIED GB)

All of the Datamax ILPC features are accessible through DPL (Datamax Programming Language) and are offered on all I-Class and W-Class printers as either a field upgrade or factory installable option.

Using scalable technology licensed from AGFA, this firmware allows users to print smooth characters in sizes from 4pt (1.4mm) to 999pt (350mm) in over 40 languages.

ILPC - CG TIMES OPTION

The CG Times Option consists of four typefaces in 38 Western European languages. This option contains 900+ unique characters in each of the four typefaces from the Times typeface family, CG Times Normal, CG Times Italic, CG Times Bold, and CG Times Bold Italic.

ILPC KANJI OPTION

The ILPC KANJI OPTION supports the Double Byte Japanese Language. KANJI GOTHIC B and KANJI GOTHIC E character sets are provided. Using scalable technology licensed from AGFA, this firmware allows users to print smooth characters from firmware resident in the printer (using an option module where applicable) eliminating excessive download time.

ILPC CHINESE OPTION

The ILPC CHINESE OPTION supports the Double Byte CHINESE Language. The SIMPLIFIED CHINESE GB character set is provided. Using scalable technology licensed from AGFA, this firmware allows users to print smooth characters from firmware resident in the printer (using an option module where applicable) eliminating excessive download time.
